Bayley Fleshner ran a career-best time of 14.43 in the 100-meter hurdles at the UW-La Crosse NCAA Qualifier on Thursday, giving her the No. 16 time in the Division III.

Bayley Fleshner placed second in the 100-meter hurdles with the No. 17 time in the nation and placed fourth in the long jump as Simpson took eighth at the 2014 IIAC Championships.

The track and field teams will compete at the Iowa Conference Championships in Decorah on May 9-10.

The Storm turned in nine, top-five efforts and won two events at the Monmouth Fighting Scot Invitational on Saturday, May 3.

Brad Vogel ran to third-place finishes in the 100- and 200-meter dashes and Lauren Martin took sixth in the 400 to lead Simpson.

The Simpson track and field teams won eight events at the Central Invitational on Wednesday.
